This was my second choice for stainless steel cookware again because of the great ratings and reviews and the fact that it was a little different from the Cuisinart Set.

The design of this KitchenAid stainless steel cookware is just slightly lower in quality than the Cuisinart set because the aluminium core is only located on the bottom of the pots and pans as opposed to up the sides. This is the reason that this set is lower in price. They are however still high quality heavy pots and pans and keep their heat very well.  Also, they resist warping, even on glass cooktops. Also, the highly polished interior surface prevents food from sticking as per user reviews. They even say eggs don’t stick if you use oil! The lids are solid steel which makes them also durable. The handles are made of stainless steel encased in Silicone meaning that they are comfortable to grip and stay cool. They also make these pans oven safe up to 400 degrees. These pans are also dishwasher safe making clean up much easier.

This stainless steel cookware set comes with3 saucepans, 2 sized skillets and an 8 quart stockpot which still cover the most essential cookware items. Also, like the Cuisinart, the lids for the Kitchen Aid stainless steel cookware are interchangeable.

The downfalls to this compared to the Cuisinart are again the lack of heat surround technology, the missing steamer and sautee pan and the limited warranty. If you can afford it, I would still suggest upgrading to the Cuisinart stainless steel cookware set although this set will do a very good job for the money you are spending!

For something a little different, these pans are really great and have a great price tag! These I think are the most beautiful looking of all the pans. They are made with multi-layer steel/aluminium/copper bases which provide even heating and prevent warping. They do not however have the heat surround technology up the sides such as the Cuisinart meaning that they take longer to heat. This stainless steel cookware is both oven safe up to 500 degrees and dishwasher safe.

This set comes with 2 sizes of skillets, 2 saucepans, and a 5 quart dutch oven (stockpot) plus 3 lids.

A unique feature of this stainless steel cookware is that they have etched on measuring lines so that you can simply add your ingredients straight to the pot! Also, the sautee pans have curved sides which help for flipping foods such as omelets and crepes. The handles are ergonomically designed for maximum comfort while cooking and are riveted for strength. The handles also have hanging holes which are useful for anyone who stores their pans by hanging above. The glass lids are great for anyone who likes to see their food as they are cooking however they are less durable than the stainless steel lids. This stainless steel cookware set also comes with a bonus slotted turner and a spoon.

Reviewers rave about the easy clean up and the great food they have been making with these pans. They found that the pans heat up very evenly because of the copper base that conducts heat very well.
